Lunch

England’s roast beef

Sits heavy

On a sea of

Crisp Yorkshire puds

As I drift off

Into afternoon slumber

  1. LOL…now I’m hungry….what’s a Yorkshire pud?

BTW saw it was Saint David’s day today in the UK??? Can’t remember who he was or what he did…does one do anything special on his day? (besides eating roast beef and Yorkshire puds that is! 😉 )

  2. Yorkshire Pud.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yorkshire_pudding it’s a type of batter pudding cooked in the oven with the sunday roast… every family has their own recipe 🙂 but more and more folk are cheating and buying ready made, http://www.auntbessies.co.uk/products/products_yp.php which is wrong

St David is the patron saint of Wales http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_David's_Day
