Sprocket Silliness

Beneath our stairs
In a small dank hole,
Dwells a bright blue Sprocket
Wot lives on coal.

His fur is all stiff
From the carbon he crunches,
His teeth jagged black
From the mineral munches.

He hunts every night
Very hard does he toil,
But his searches are fruitless,
Our heating is oil.
